Nicaragua Surf

We met Jonathan 3 years ago on the beach at sunset; the surf camp was not even completly built at that time.

Ever since around November, we have had the pleasure to have him back at Los Clavos Surf Camp.

It is now his third time staying with us at Los Clavos for over 3 weeks, beating the former "longest continuous stay" record as well the "overall days spent" record.

Jonathan, why did you come back to Nicaragua this year?

I really enjoy the almost empty line-ups, the quality of the waves in this season (not too big, not too mellow) as well as the warm water: you only come out of the water because you are tired, not because of the cold :-)

What do you like best about North Nicaragua?

Its tropical climate, inviting to a simple way of life. The lovely people around, always so nice with me although I am a tourist.

For what type of surfers does Los Clavos Surf Camp suit better?

Any type of surfers! Nahualapa being the most inviting for everyone, from beginners to intermediate ++

The Boom or Jiquilillo for bigger challenges or even tubes!!! Just go for it !!
