Boxing in Nicaragua, a very popular sport

After baseball, boxing is the second most popular sport in Nicaragua. Every kid here knows Chocolatito the national champion, first Nicaraguan to win world titles in 4 different weigh classes.

 

 

At Los Clavos,  we are always looking for new ideas to create unforgettable holidays. This year we are proud to  announce a partnership with Apollo Sorting Club, a well established Paris based boxing club which shares the same values as we do: passion for sport, experienced coaches and friendly atmosphere to practice. 

 

While living in Paris I was training at Apollo Sporting Club and made friend with Benji, one of the 3 owners. So when he contacted me to organise this boxing training retreat in Nicaragua I was thrilled to be able to offer the possibility to box in such amazing conditions in Nicaragua :outdoor boxing ring with oceanview and a professional coach coming all the way from Europe!

 

 

So we've created this "high intensity" package that will include a boxing training, a surf session and a yoga class everyday. We know our guests love their naps, but most of them are super active and will be happy to find this unique package offering those 3 beautiful and complementary sports - Boxing, Surf and Yoga - in one week.
