In northern Nicaragua, the weather is 100% sunny and warm from November to May. Even during rainy season it's always warm enough to live outside all day long. So be prepared to work outdoor at your new oceanview desk whenever you decide to join us.

We make it easy with plug sockets everywehre to charge your phone and computer anywhere anytime.

Internet access

A very good WIFI connection - strong enough for video calls - is available in the common area where you'll be working. We have a back-up system to provide internet even in case of power shortage. In case you need access from your room, you can buy internet data from a local company, or use your own data (international data plans work super fine in Nicaragua).

A quiet environment

Los Clavos Surf Camp welcomes travelers who are willing to surf and relax. Social times happen mostly during day time when going surfing, or for a sunset drink and before dinner. Most evening are chiled, people reading, or chatting.

Food and coffee

You won't have to worry about cooking and even think about what you're going to eat for your next meal. We take care of specific diets and we'll prepare 3 delicious meal per day.

All guests share meals together in a friendly atmosphere. And of course, you have access to the coffee machine for a nicaraguan coffee break at anytime, with a piece of homemade cake.

Friendly and international atmosphere

The owners being French, the staff Nicaraguan, guests mostly North Americans and Europeans, you'll meet a very international crowd at Los Clavos Surf Camp. The common area is comfortable and organised so that people can gather and chat. In the same time, you can easily stay in a hammock or find more privacy on your bungalow's porch for some time alone.

In case you're interested in improving your spanish skills, we know a local teacher who gives conversation classes.

Surf

If you're looking for more than work during your stay, you should take this opportunity to improve your surfing skills.

Whatever your surf level is, you'll be able to organise your day around an early surf session, right in front of the camp if you have a busy day and you're not able to take more time to drive to another great surf spot we have in the area.

Physical exercice and surf will help you be in a good shape and work efficiently.

Yoga

And of course, you can grab a mat and go to the yoga deck facing the ocean to strech, meditate or practice your own yoga. This for sure will help you focus on your daily tasks.
