Nicaragua Surf

Nicaragua has a tropical climate with 2 seasons, both great to come and surf in Northern Nicaragua. The year will be divided in:

Dry seaSon IN NICARAGUA

From December to April, the sun will almost always shine on all Nicaragua. On the Pacific coast, the landscape will get drier and temperature vary between 28ºC and 35ºC (82ºF to 95ºF). The ocean temperature will be around 26ºC (79ºF) from November to January when the off-shore wind, eagerly expected by surfers, is cooling the water down, and up to 30ºC (86ºF) in April.

Green seaSon IN NICARAGUA

The rainy season stretches from May to October. With the first showers of May, the luxuriant nature is coming back making every garden look colorful again. Starting in March, big swells make the surf greater than ever util November. The evening showers of July and August won´t affect your trip as the temperature is still nice and the sun predominant.
